17 Geneva Drive Camps Bay FINE STYLE Located above the hustle and bustle of Camps Bay beachfront is a place of cool quiet, a large stylishly decorated and tremendously comfortable villa is beautiful inside and out allowing its guests to holiday in true luxury. The façade of this stunning home is enhanced by solid pillars on each side and vast black framed glass windows and doors that allow natural light to stream into the home while taking full advantage of its magnificent views of Lions Head, the smooth ocean waters and its protected coves. A floating cement staircase rises to each floor of the villa complementing the spacious modern interior of this home and functional, aesthetically elegant satin chrome finish square spotlights are fitted throughout. Natural tones are used to blend in with the environment and colour is incorporated with figurative oil paintings, abstract artworks, interesting prints and contemporary ceramic pots that fill every room bringing beauty and character to the areas that they grace while complementing this modern home. Just a ten minute drive from Camps Bay and you are on Table Mountain or at the V & A Waterfront with its range of activities for every persuasion from energetic shopping to spiritual massage treatments, great bookstores and excellent cuisine and entertainment or a ten minute drive in the opposite direction and you are horse riding on Hout Bay beach. Camps Bay beachfront with its slender palms and endless white sands is always heaving with life and only a five-minute walk down the road. As you enter, you are immediately drawn through the huge glass windows and doors to the incredible views that surround this villa as far as the horizon where a large ship is making its way to the Table Bay harbour. The villas six large and luxurious bedrooms all lead off the entrance, bedroom one is positioned to the right of the entrance, bedroom two up a few steps at the entrance and bedrooms three, four and five downstairs. All six bedrooms are tastefully decorated with fine linen, soft lighting, and lightly textured walls, glass sliding doors that flow outdoors, an upholstered rectangular seat, a television and an en suite bathroom. Four bedrooms have light wooden floors and one is covered in a coffee colour carpet, bedrooms one to four have solid dark wood double beds and heavy beige curtains while bedroom five has twin beds with striped curtains that match the headboards. Bedroom one has wood and frosted glass fitted wardrobes with drawers, a matching desk and an exquisite model ship, bedroom two has a cream chez lounge and black framed windows along the ceiling, bedroom three has a red suede sofa, a free standing French white wardrobe and dresser and glass sliding doors that open on to a terrace with a round wooden table and chairs, bedroom four has a camel suede chair with a rest, a frosted glass wall and doors opening on to a paved patio and bedroom five has cement wall shelves and a free standing French white wardrobe. All five bathrooms are tiled with cream granite vanity areas and washbasins, bathroom one is positioned behind the desk with a frameless glass shower and wood and frosted glass wardrobes and drawers, bathroom two is tiled in beige mosaic with twin bowled white washbasins, a separate glass door shower room and matching loo room, wood and frosted glass wardrobes with drawers and a large rectangular white bathtub raised behind the bed, bathroom three is tiled in mosaic and has a shower behind the curved wall and bathrooms four and five have a glass door shower. Living area A fully equipped tiled kitchen is positioned on the second level of the villa with a centre work island and high wood and chrome chairs, a wooden dinner table with six grey weaved chairs, convenient for enjoying a true South African braai(barbeque), fitted wood and frosted glass cabinetry and large pull out drawers, windows along the top of the walls and glass sliding doors that lead on to the swimming pool area. A spacious open plan living/dining area is perfect for entertaining in all weather conditions with glass sliding doors to the outdoors and a built in fireplace on pebbles in the living room. The living area has an extra length beige suede sofa with rich ethnic scatter cushions, two square brown wicker chairs fitted with suede cushions and a glass coffee table, all on wooden panelling surrounded by tiles. A modern sea blue triptych on the wall and different ceiling levels create a welcoming ambience. The dining area is tiled with a solid dark wood rectangular table and ten contemporary dark brown leather chairs, a stunning contrast to the neutral colours of the interior, a wooden server and a French white glass cabinet. The outdoors The back of this home is a place of tranquillity, a perfect location in which to accommodate family and friends with a raised and rectangular, chic infinity swimming pool on the terrace that appears to flow into the ocean on the horizon, slatted wooden sun loungers for relaxing on hot Summer days, a built in cooker on a tiled work surface and to emphasise the delightful views of the nearby sea, a huge paved balcony has been incorporated into the design of this house. Perched high up in Camps Bay in absolute comfort one can capture the views of the brilliant Cape Town sunsets time after time. |
